Our Story

As a child one of my dream jobs was to become a fashion designer. I loved dressing up my princess barbies and sketching out outfits for them. That love of clothes eventually blossomed into a desire to own my own business, leading me to create an online boutique. While I loved helping people discover their style through clothing, a certain sprinkle of Disney magic felt like it was missing.

Like many in 2020, the world changed, impacting my boutique as vendor shows disappeared and the need for  boutique clothes lessened. It was during this quiet time at home that inspiration struck in the form of a simple drawing: Minnie ears. A thought sparked – why not try to create these myself?

I decided to learn to sew, first by hand and then by machine, my very first pair of ears came to life, and with them, Meagan's Minnie Shop was born. It became the perfect blend of my lifelong love for design and the magic of Disney.

My initial hope was simply to have someone wearing my ears in the parks. To say that dream has been exceeded is an understatement. Seeing my creations not only in parks around the world but also having the magical experience of running into customers wearing my ears during my own Disney trips is an indescribable joy.
