*Shop Alert* I will be at Disney from September 1-5 so some orders and messages may be delayed...but I am working to get as much done as I can. Be sure to follow @meagans.minnie.shop to keep up with me 😊
Craving a break from the park crowds? While a pool day is a popular choice, maybe the Florida weather isn't cooperating, or perhaps, like me, you'd rather explore than take a splash. If so, this post is for you!
Over at the Fort Wilderness Resort at the Tri-Circle D Ranch they house the horses for carriage rides around the Wilderness resort (as well as Port Orleans), trail rides around the resort, pony rides for kids, and of course Cinderella's Royal Carriage.
Being able to go "behind the scenes" to see the horses up close, learning their names, and observing the keepers care for the horses was just magical!
You will also find here a nook filled with nostalgic photos to show the history with Disney and horses as well as unique memorabilia.
While this experience won't take a full day, probably 30 minutes or less, it offers a unique change of pace. For me, anything that combines interaction with animals and a sprinkle of Disney history is a definite yes!
I mean horseback riding and carriage rides at Disney? Who knew! Now they're definitely on my Disney bucket list!
